Dear Experts,

I have a structure following:

WBS 1

- Acticity 1

WBS 2

- Activity 2

-- Component T-20000 | 30 (Requirement Quantity) | Requirement day : 10/11/2010

WBS 3

- Activity 3

-- Component T-20000 | 50 (Requirement Quantity) | Requirement day : 14/11/2010

I use WBS group (value=2) for WBS 1. After that i assigned WBS 2,3 into WBS 1 Group. I assigned MRP Group 0010 into WBS 1 Group.

After release project, the system generate 2 reservation for component of 2 different activity. Next step, I run MRP for WBS 1, the system generate 1 planned order for all OrdRes. After that, i run MD04 to check material stock, the result:

Stock: 0

ProjStock : WBS 1 | Available Quantity: 70

OrdRes 2 (WBS 2) | Requirement Quantity :30 | AvaiQty: 40

OrdRes 3 (WBS 3) | Requirement Quantity :50 | AvaiQty: 10-

ProjStock : WBS 2 | Available Quantity: 10

Then i converted PR to PO and GR. Result that system GR (Qty:80) that material into Project Stock (WBS1). Then i transfered posting material (Qty:10) from Project Stock WBS1 to ProjectStock WBS2.

I run MRP again for Project Definition. Result that system gererate additional 1 planned order (qty: 10)

Stock: 0

ProjStock : WBS 1 | Available Quantity: 70

OrdRes 2 (WBS 2) | Requirement Quantity :30 | AvaiQty: 40

OrdRes 3 (WBS 3) | Requirement Quantity :50 | AvaiQty: 10-

PlanOder | Requirement Qty: 10

ProjStock : WBS 2 | Available Quantity: 10

So, problem is that when i run the second MRP, the system didn't take material from ProjStock WBS2.

Kindly explain that problem for my project.

Thank and Best Regards,

NhatLQ

Hi

I suppose the 10 qty should be on WBS 3 instead of WBS 2. Because of deficit of 10 qty at WBS 3, system is generating planned order.

Also look at MRP settings in OPPJ transaction and also activate MRP grouping under PS-> material -> procurement-> activate MRP groups.
