Supply Scenario

Hi,

The problem is that in case a Move Out occurs on an installation where a future dated switch is present, the future dated Supply Scenario remains attached to the installation even after the MO gets completed.

This creates an issue as the new customer gets hit with the pending Supply Scenario instead of going with the default values.

For Eg.

Pending Switch 11/15/2010 Customer A

MO Occurs 11/11/2010 Customer A

MI Occurs 11/12/2010 Customer B

In this situation, what should happen is that the new customer (B) moving in on 11/12/2010 should be with default suppliers till 12/31/9999.

Instead Customer B remains with default till 11/14/2010 and switches to the new supplier on 11/15/2010.

This should not be the case.

Appreciate any inputs on this.

Thanks and Regards,

Ravi Bhatnagar

In standard practice, supply scenario are driven by POD ID instead of customer.

In the given example, during move out of customer A, it is not canceling the pending switch. Due to this, customer B is getting switched as per the schedule at the POD ID.

As a solution, you can cancel any pending switch during move-out.
