Deleting Purchase Orders

I'm in a SRM 4.0 project. We have implemented standalone scenario. Now i'm facing a problem with a purchase order, which has been created and sent already to the vendor, and we want to deleted. The deletion option is not available, we can only delet itens. Is this the standard behaviour?

Can any of you help me with this issue?

Hi Ana,

Yes this is standard behavior because the PO has already been output to the supplier.

The only solution is to delete all PO items one by one, and send this PO Change to the supplier.

Hi Christophe,

thanks for your answer. But when searching for SAP notes, i found note 946737, which says: "A deleted Purchase Order which was ordered before has the wrong status when it's deleted". Therefore i thought that would be possible to delete already ordered PO's.

Hi ana,

As christophe said, it isn't possible to delete a PO which is already sent to vendor. You can just close it for exemple with FINAL_ENTRY flag set to 'X'(then inform the vendor that the PO is closed) and archive it.
