Force parameter of Export

Hello, I am new on Oracle over SAP.

I have a question about the force parameter of export utility using BR*Tools, because when I tried to exported 2 tables appears this error:

BR0068E SAP system is running or SAP user is connected to database instance T61

BR1025I Please shut down SAP system first or use the 'force' option

So, my question is: If the force parameter is enable the SAP system will shut down?

Hi,

no, "forcing" the export in brtools will simply do the export, but you will not be

sure that the table(s) are not modified during the export.

So if there is activity in the system, you have to ensure, it does

not affect the tables you like to export.
