CUA linked with SRM - USERS_GEN

Hi all,

We will implement a new SRM 7 system that is linked to an existing CUA.

Users will be brought from CUA to SRM's SU01.

But afterwards we'll still have to execute the USERS_GEN transaction in the SRM system I presume since the CUA doesn't hold the organisational unit or position of the transfered user. Or is there a way to let CUA provide the necassary data without we having to do the manual USERS_GEN in SRM?

Yes. Saravanan is correct.

you must integrate the user in to the SRM Organisation level.

then only User can perform any function like create sc, po , contract etc..via WEB ..

till the user integrate into org it is like dummy user ..

Do you use SAP HR? If yes, then there is a field not remember the exact info type but you can have your HR team pass the Userid from there.

Hi..

CUA is to maintain the user's id and other details in SU01.. You still need to perform USERS_GEN to assign the user to the position..hope this help you to understand..
