DMS - Document Management System

Hi Everyone!

I am setting up my test database to handling saving and archiving of documents.

My error message says:

"SAP archiving for document type DRW maximum 0 bytes.

Diagnosis:

In Customizing, you can define per document type how large (in bytes) a file to be archived to the SAP database can be.

As this file is larger than this maximum size, you see this error message.

If the maximum size is 0, the Save to SAP function is inactive"

I am trying to find out where to do this settings and change from o to XXX bytes.

I am currently setting up my documenttypes in transaction code CV01N and the text book i am using says nothing

about pre configurating savings settings.

That`s correct and you should also not tick off use of content server when you directly save doc in SAP.

This is found in Tcode DC10. Double click the document type to get detail. You should see a field that says file size. This is the field that needs to be modified.
