Dear Experts ,
here i have some problems in my system
it seems very slow now i need to speed up my system performance
so please let me any suggessions on this
i checked in RZ20 buffer values
Program -> SpaceUsed --> 100%
Screen -->SpaceUsed -->99%
InitialRecords -->HitRatio -->47%
InitialRecords -->Swap -->106.5 /min ... these all are in red color
how can i Reset these buffer values ..
i already restarted my instance but system performnce is not much more increased
Regards
The values of these buffers are shown in transaction ST02. Check if you have many swaps on these buffers, if that's the case, you could consider increasing them..
Keep in mind that these ST02 buffers are only a small part of your overall system performance. In case you have serious performance issues, you have to check the entire landscape:
- SAP System
- Oracle
- Heavy SQL
- Network
- Operating system
- Storage system
- and so on....
Kind regards,
Mark

The performance issue raised by a user or multipe user and multipe site?
have you checked whats going on in SM50 (is your database doing sequential reads?)
Check for your IO wait for your database filesystem.
What DB and OS your SAP running?

ST02 --> increase the buffers which has more swaps
ST03n --> find the Bad Z* programs and tune it
DB02 --> check the buffer hits --> if it is less than 80% increase it
