Hello,

we have requirement in for Barcode, iam very new to WM.

How to Map this scenarion for "Barcode labels for the storage Units with Validations for the warehouse"

Please can you tell me the logic how i can proceed.

The requirement is print SUN label. Now the question is when do you want to print. It depends your requirement. SUN label is usually assigned to one quantity. something like 1:1 assignment.

You have to activate the warehouse as SU managed. After that you have to configure output details in OMLV for source storage type and destination storage type. You have to activate the storage type as warehouse managed.

For example, after the production order confirmation, the stock in receipted in to interim storage type 902. you have to configure the printer information for destination storage type 902.

SUN labels can be produced when the time of receipting Goods from supplier.

Herewith given below complete customisation step for bar code.

Please let me know if required any furhter information.

Have to implement WM for Finished Goods warehouse for Textile Industry.

The client is alreay working on with Handling Unit Management for Delivery Doc creation Process.

Handling Units being used to pack different types of finished goods into one pack and create Delivery for customers.

1. BAR codes should be as per UCC / EAN128 standard.

2. Assign application identifier ( EAN -128) to warehouse number u2013

WHNo Bin Appl ID mat app id SU app id Qty appl Id

001 EAN -128 EAN -128 EAN -128 EAN -128

3. Bar code type

ALE type mini maxi prefix delimiter

EAN128 2 Jc1 Xxx

4. Do further assignment with AL type

5.Define menu management

6.navigation with bar code scanner

7.Define screen management

Hi.

1. SPRO>Loges-Exec->Mobile Data Entry->Verification control->define profiles..

Here you can flag... based on the setting... a small field will be visible for verification in the respective LM transactions during the Process. there u need to scan the barcode of the respective Storage unit/Storage Bin.

The barcode label can be easily generated using SMARTFORM, take help from ABAP'r
