Hello,
Does anybody know how Guided Syncronization Structure (GSS) will work in PLM 7.1?
Is there any prerequisite in BOM management SAP process to enable this new feature?
Thanks
Riccardo
Hello Riccardo and team,
I have a doubt what does GSS mean? Actually i am looking for any option where when any changes done using ECM, in Engg bom flows to prod bom automatically. Can this this be achieved through EHP5 for ECC 6.0.

satish

HEllo Ricardo,
There is no prerequiste.modifications required in standard BOM to use GSS,GSS is basically used to convert engineering bom to manufacturing bom,The sync unit concept in GSS help in maintaining consistency between the mapped engineering bom and manufacturing bom
