How allow bid increase in the Live Auction Cockpit in SRM 4.0

Hi Experts,

We have a requeriment where the bid winner will be the biggest disconunt over a X price.

How can we allow increase bids in the Live Auction Cockpit in SRM 4.0.

As your requirement is out of the ordinary for reverse auction offered by standard SRM, I'd propose the following two options:

1) Ask the bidders to submit the bid price (discount) based on a fixed base price. For example, propose a fabricated base price, say $100. Then ask the bidder to calculate the bid price minus the the discount they are able to offer. If the bidder is able to give $20 discount, he should put in $80. This can be written in the "terms and conditions" page or communicate to the bidders ahead of the auction time.

2) I am not sure if it would work out, but try to test with negative bid price. E.g. if the bidder offers a discount of $20, ask him to put in $-20. But as I said, I am not sure the standard is able to handle negative bid prices. This needs to be tested out.
