SAP ECC 5.0 Software

Hi,

I I have on the source system : SAP ERP ECC 5.0 (SAP R/3 Kernel 640_REL, MSSQL Release 9.00.4053#).

I need the same to install it on the target system to do a DB copy and then upgrade to ECC 6.0.

Where can I find this software?

All I find is SAP ERP ECC 6.0.

You can download from service.sap.com/swdc Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group" SAP Application Components" SAP ERP" SAP ERP 2004, select your OS and DB

you see that I need SAP ERP ECC 5.0 with SAP Kernel 640_REL...

When I go via you advice I can only see this:

Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group" SAP Application Components" SAP ERP

SAP ERP

• SAP ERP 6.0

• SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE*

There is no SAP ERP ECC 5.0 or SAP 2004 as you mentioned.

Maybe u mean another thing?

Mean you do not have authorizations from SAP to view other products than ECC6.

But you mentioned you have installation of ECC5 then you must have authorizations. Check with your local SAP support or raise a OSS call.

Hi

You can upgrade sap with SAP ECC 6.0 software.

You need media:

upgrade master

upgrade export

and language

I think william you did not get my question...?

The upgrade is later. Now I am looking for the SAP ERP ECC 5.0 software to install it on target system and then after do the DB copy and upgrad.

The question now is: where are the necesary DVDs to prepare the target system as an SAP ECC 5.0 for DB copy from the source system ? Which media numbers and where I can download it. As I mentioned before I can only see SAP ERP ECC 6.0.

Microsoft SQL-Server

Now I think this what I need to download to install SAP ERP ECC 5.0 as the source system.

Can you be so kind and tell me which files are the correct one to download?

The installation guide has all the required information. You need

Installation master DVD, Kernel DVD, Installation export etc..

Yes we are , but reading installation guide will give you accurate information.

1) RDBMS DVD

2) Installation Master

3) Kernel

4) Export

5) Language if any --

6) Java Component -- In case Dual stack
