Different result PO SRM and SAP R3

Dear Expert,

I have case with extended classic scenario.

User create PO in SRM (ver 5.0) with discount condition, after replicated to R3, the value of srm and r3 diffrent result depend on the quantity, the greater quantity, the greater deviation.

illustration:

PO in SRM: Price 0.14 USD, discount percentage 15%, qty : 2,000, 000;

discount value : 0.14 x 15% = 0.021

Net Price: (0.14 - 0.021) x 2,000,000 = 0.119 x 2,000,000 = 238,000 USD

in R3:

Price : 0.12 x 2,000,000 = 240,000 USD

in that scenario, there is deviation value 2000 USD. SRM copy the value 0.12 than 0.119 to SAP R3.

Please help us, how we can avoid the deviation? this is major issue in my company because vendor won't be get paid with this deviation.

No idea, this is standar of extended classic scenario or not. why, dscount condition not copy also to sap r3.

Best Regards,

Yusup

HI,Yusup

I suggest that you could do more test ,and let's see the results. In my opinion ,the net price will be transfer to the r/3 system ,no deviation.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your attention.

I've done many test. this is because round up or round down 3 digit of price to 2 digit. in my case price after dicount is 0.119 round up to 0.12. Actually in SRM used the price 0.119, otherwise R3 used 0.12.

also, I have tried to create PO in srm and R3 separately, both I used the same discount condition. with this test, I got the same result.

Thanks and Regards,

Yusup
