Production order type availability.

Hi,

I want to make availability check for a material when a production order type is executed. I´ve got ECC and APO and the material is already CIF to APO. The production order configuration is made in ECC, but can I leave this check be made just by the ECC and not by APO?

Should I CIF the ATP Customizing first to APO? Or is it better to configure in APO the check instructions and the check control?

Hi,

The Meaning of Check boxes in CIF

1.ATP check

By selecting the ATP check and selecting the materials and plants, you determine that the availability check is

performed for these material/plant combinations.

2 ATP Customizing

The setup of the data channel for ATP Customizing allows the Customizing settings to be transferred to SAP APO.

Note:

1.The Check instruction is determined from Business event and check mode .

2.The Business events are defined in R3 and is used in APO.( Identifies the type of tansaction that initiates ATP check)

3.The Business event is transferred to the ATP check in APO.( Corresponds to checking rule in R3 and is transferred to APO via CIF)

4.In APO Business event with other ATP Settings determine the entire check rule control.
