Best way to Interact SAP MDM with ECC

Hi All,

Can any one highlight on integration SAP MDM with SAP ECC using standard content delivered by SAP. Do need any customization? Please provide me any links where I can look in depth entire procedure to integrate MDM with ECC.

Is SAP PI is mandatory in this integration?

Hi Rajeev,

For MDM 7.1 it is highly recommended to use the new MDM PI Adapter. This adapter implements PI inbound outbound communication to MDM. Monitoring is one of the bestfeature.

Customization is needed if your requirement is not fulfilled by standard content.

Is SAP PI is mandatory in this integration?

SAP PI is not mandatory, but if you want to get maximum benefit of Standard Content, you must use PI.
