can any body guide me how to assign department responsible in notification automatic

like my scenario is once i received material against purchase order if any rejection is happend those perticular material system should give the messege will go purchase department through workflow

if it is internal problem system should trigger workflow production department

if it is customer comaplient messege should trigger sales department head how we will take care this business scenario

i m not sure about the std scenario to achieve your requirement but we have made a program & smart form for this requirement.We have made a customize program which picks up the vendor number purchase order number etc ,which in turns get the purchase order creator & send mail to him for rejection.

By std way you have to go to QM02 & trigger mail manually

here what is happend QC person only responsible for results entering they dont know who is co ordinater and which department is responsible that mail trigger willbe happend back ground

each characteristic i maintained defects codes and valution based on valution it will trigger workflow or notification
