Hi experts,

after the SPAM / SAINT UPDATE has been completed successfully to version 38, I wanted to import the ST-A/PI 01M_R3_470.

But I get the error message:

Note: Prepare Upgrade / is still running, import not permitted

If the upgrade is in the PREPARE phase, and you have to import the OCS queue, proceed as follows:

1. Delete the queue by using one of the following:

Support Package Manager: Choose Display/ Define -> Delete Queue.

Add-On Installation Tool: Choose Back.

2. Completely reset PREPARE as described in the upgrade guide.

3. Redefine the queue and import it.

how can i do--> 2. Completely reset PREPARE as described in the upgrade guide.

where can i get the upgrade guide? or

how can i reset PREPARE ?

http://service.sap.com/instguides

And then choose your product, I prsume ERP.

This is the link to the upgrade ECC6, it requires the OSS account.

For the command, you have to go to the subdirectory BIN of the upgrade directory, and then enter the command "Sapup reset prepare"

Hope that helps you,

Hm! your are not performing upgrade. You are just importing support pack, and you have completed SPAM upgrade and now want to apply patches for ST. While applying ST patches you are getting error.

What is the current stauts in SPAM? is it green?

when you did your last upgrade , you probably did not complete the whole process and left it unfinished.

You will need to contact SAP ans ask them how to get out of there.

Do not use any response here as it may destroy or affect your SAP system negatively.

SAP says: I have checked and there was an inconsistency in a table. I have removed the inconsistency

and imported the SAINT queue.
