generate lot for stock which is already in MMBE

Hi,

Issue: We have 30 PC in blocked stock for Material X but for these 30 PC there is no inspection lot in QM.

Requirement: I want to generate the inspection lot in QM for these 30 PC(these are presently in MMBE- blocked stock)

System data:QM is activated in Material master and the only inspection type maintained is 01.

The inspection lot status has CRTD(created), not REL(released) because incomplete master data.

1) You should reverse previous material document.

If you have any knowledge of QM

2) You can create the inspection plan or material specification for material.

3) When you create new material document with mvt. type 349, an inspection lot will be created with insp. stock.

4) You can record the results, decide the usage and trasfer posting for insp. stock at transaction QA32.

If you don't have knowledge of QM

2) You change the inspection setup for insp. type 08 in material master.

- Deselect indicator: Insp. with task list, Automatic assignment, Check chars

- Select indicator: 100% inspeciton

3) When you create new material document with mvt. type 349, an inspection lot will be created with insp. stock.

4) You can decide the usage and transfer posting for insp. stock at transaction QA32.

Activate 08->MB1B->349

lot will be generated then take UD

should I activate inspection type 08 in material master and then try to do MB1B , movement type 350 as I already have stock in blocked stock

apart from maintianing 08 what else should I update in material master

after doing the above activity will the lot be getting generated.

lot is generated in the system I have checked in QA32

but when I transfer the inconsistent data from quality to blocked via report ZQEVAC20 its not generating lot but I want the lot to be generated

what is your exact requirement ??

T code Mb1b -->349 is very different from ZQEVAC20 tcode which is inconsistencies between the MM & QM.Also note that ZQEVAC20 is used for Unrestricted batches.

Here are we talking about batches?? or its simple transfer from block stock to QI again.?
