starting a couple weeks back we had odd things happen to our users. When they try to log on they get error message "This function is not possible". When they click on the green button they get logged. They can use the system for some time but then they get popup called "Technical information" with info on Program and function and can't get rid of that window and have to restart SAP to get it away. Also today we got an error message stating that "Incorrect data was recieved from the server, application might not work properly"(translated error message, original one was in estonian). What could be causing this? We upgraded some computers to the lates SAPGUI 7.20 and some are using an older version but both are having issues.
It is not related to SAP GUI version. First check the connectivity as well as firewall - please make "permit all" for SAP GUI in firewall instead of "automatic". Then check the ABAP dispatcher logs (dev_disp) and msg server logs. It will help you to dig out the cause.
