SUS-MM-C-folder

Hi,

i need to know something about the following scenario.

i'm tolking about MM-SUS scenario for direct material purchasing, and EBP-MM scenario for indirect material purchasing. I have to handle the documentation exchange between buyer and supplier, so i prove to make some specific questions:

1) Can i install just one SRM server to handle both the scenarius or i have to install an SRM for EBP-mm and another for SUS-mm?

2)Does it Exist a standard integration between SUS & C-folder so that i can create a collaboration in CF directly from SUS? Or alternatively could i use something else respect CF?

Best regards.

Simone

Hi,

1. EBP and SUS can be deployed on:

diff servers

same server diff client

same server same client

the deployment depends on the frequnecy and load of documents transfer.

2. can you be more specific for Cfolders?

Hi Dinesh,

thanks for your answare.

1) so, i can install SUS in several kinds.

I thinik that frequnecy and load will be critical aspect for my implementation. So you suggest me to propose an installation with several client or several server. Do you?

2) I have implemented in past a SRM installation in which Bid invitation was integrated with C-Folder component, using the standard configuration. In that case every vendor had a personal area in which attach or read files with purchaser.

I don't know, unknowing SUS, if is possible to make a similar installation.

Probably in SUS it isn't necessary, because, it could be enough to handle simple attachments, but i don't know. Do you?

Sorry for my english.

BR.

Hi,

1. Then you should go for Same server-diff clients or if infrastructure is not a limitation then diff servers

2. As far as I know about SUS you can not send attachments to R/3.

If collabrating with vendors is only yr requirement then C-folders should be enough for you.

SUS is used for PO and SA management by suppliers i.e.

they can

accept,

process

send ASN shipping notifications

Invoices

against PO/SA

and if BIW is integrated they can see various reports.

(I am also sorry that you could not reward me points.)

Hi Simone!

I'm searching for a similar solution integration cFolders to SUS-MM scenario.

How did you manage it? Could you be so kind and give me some information.

Kind regards,

Barbara

i am afraid , there is no integration available between SUS and Cfolder.

Only way could be you access he bid invitations from SUS and the bid invitation can work with c--folders.

award points if usefull
