File system Transport Issue - Mapping change

Hi Guys,

We had a requirement to add a new field to the Target and Source structure . We done the changes to structure and changed the mapping for this field .We moved this changes to Production system . Data Structure of source and target structure got updated but Mapping changes for this new field is not updated . We have done a Catch clear as well last week . Please let me know what could be the issue and we are trying to move this mapping changes again .

Hi Prabhu,

Have you transported objects as individual or with the Namespace.

If you have done as individual objects, then check whether the message mapping object is transported or not. If not, then the mapping changes will not replicate.

If you have transported the objects with the namespace, then the changes should appear. If not, then check whether the mapping changes are activated.

I hope the transport for mapping changes have been successfully imported into Production system and there was no error while importing it.
