PP/DS PDS Resource Consumption Calculation

Hi,

I was wondering how the Resource Consumption was calculated in the PDS when creation it from R/3 Master Recipe.

My scenario is that I want my mode to have a duration of 2 hours, but I want my capacity requirement to be 4 hours. In R/3, I can use different Standard Values and Formulas to achieve this, but when the Master Recipe is CIF, the PDS always shows a duration of 2 hours (7200 sec) and a capacity comsumption of 1.

Thanks,

Marc

Hi,

Res Cons Calc:

Resource consumption = fixed consumption + (variable consumption x order quantity/output quantity).

Duration of an activity calc:

Duration of activity = fixed duration + (variable duration x order quantity/output quantity)

If your resource is Single activity resource Fixed Res Cons is 1 and Variable Res Cons is not possible.

Thanks,

nandha

And how do I influence the Fixed and Variable Consumption from the data of the Master Recipe?
