MDM 7.1 installation on Windows 7

Hi Experts,

Does anybody installed MDM 7.1 server with SQL server 2005 on Windows 7.

Please help me. I installed MDM 7.1 on Windows 7 64 bit OS with Sql Server 2005.

I am facing Database connectivity issue. I tried multiple options for connecting MDM with SQL server 05. But couldnt get success.

Please help me in this issue,

Hope you have installed 64-bit MS SQL Server 2005.

have you added a alias to the db instance?

I'm using ms sql 2008. after the alias is added to the instance, mdm can connect to the instance.
