ViewLayout not working when working from home

Hi,

My WD Environment works perfectly well when working in office. Layout Opens and also when testing the application it shows properly in internet explorer.

But when i am trying to work from home. ViewLayout doesnot open and shows error cann't display page. and also WD application does not run.... I am using SAProuter string to access my SAP Application server from home...

I have an entry in HOSTS file also....

Hi Wasim,

you probably have a reverse proxy at your data center,

if you have your url: www.company.com:8006/../.../.

try to run your application without the portnumber in the url:

www.company.com/../.../.

the viewer won't work unfortunately

Hi Koen,

So you mean we can't develop WD application outside our office environment . Seems to be strange, Where will then all the outsource things goes.

I think there might be a way to do it...

Hi Wasim,

this means that with a vpn connection, this will be possible,

without, it will be possible with the ui hierarchy, not with the preview pane.

I can't say what you have to do to bypass this reverse proxy, your BC people probably know the trick
