How to redirect offline files from oracle/SID/oraarch to sapdata8.

Hi All,

We are facing space problem in oracle/SID/oraarch.

We are having 100gb in sapdata8, please help me, is there any process or change of parameters to redirect files from oracle/SID/oraarch to sapdata8.

If yes, please let me know the process and also let me know do we need to restart after changing the parameters.

Hope you are fine Murali,

hm! you have to change the init<SID>.ora parameter log_archive_dest='/oracle/BWP/oraarch/<SID>arch' as you have 9.2 oracle.

Information is widely available in SDN

consider change in oracle parameter LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST to achieve this.
