Hello.....Experts....

We have a background job scheduled to run for every 30 MINS,

Restrictions Demand

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Demand -1 -


This Job should not run in WEEKENDS.

Solution -


Managed thru COMPANY CALENDER

Demand -2 -


This Jobs should not run everyday 6.30 PM to 8.30 AM (Next Day)

Solution -


????????????????????? ( Requires your help)

The solution would be to start the job after 8:30 AM everyday.

And, put no start after 6:30 PM

NO START AFTER...WILL DEMAD TO PUT DATE.

ONCE WE PUT DATE...IT WILL BECOME HARDCODED,

AND FREQUENCY DEMAND WILL BE LOST....I UNDERSTAND.

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF MY UNDERSTANDING IS WRONG.

Yes your right & there are not options other than scheduling n different jobs during this time frame fro everyday. SAP standard functionalities doesn't allow your to do this.

You can think of using 3rd Party Products like Control-M, Maestro, etc.
