Hi there -

We are implementing IS-U and have a Business process question.

My understanding for Device Installation -

1. Create a Service work order for Device(meter) installation using front office.

2. The field technician gets the work order and processes the order.

And here is where I have a question - After he processes they should be a standard integration where one can complete technical installation(IW31) rather than using BAPI or something. Any pointers greatly appreciated.

create a service installation work order for to install a device physically at device location.

2. The field technician gets the work order and processes the order.

the created work order assigned to person and he installs the meter and updates as technical completion in change work order IW32.later they do technical installation and billing related installation based on business scenario.

Thanks for the reply but I am trying to understand movement type U61.

Does movement type U61 used for technical installation behind the scene?
