Background Jobs for EWA

Hello All,

If I am right, there are 2 background jobs for EWA to run properly.

1. /BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR - In the satellite System

2. SM:EXEC SERVICES - In SolMan

What should be the frequency of these jobs? and how to schedule them?

As mentioned before, 1. /BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR should run hourly in the satellite system. This job can be activated in the SDCCN of each system. If your SDCCN is activated and the job is not running, activate it under tx SDCCN -> Goto -> Settings -> Task Processor -> Activate.

But job SM:EXEC SERVICES should actually run daily. Once you do the basic solution manager configuration this job should be activated. Please check note 894729 for more information. Hi,

1st job runs every hour in satellite system.

2nd job runs twice a day in Solman.

When you configure SDCCN and enable EWA, system automatically sets up this job.
