SAPGUI 7.20 on Citrix 4.5 Farm - server configuration file change

We are trying to setup SAPGUI 7.20 on our Citrix Farm, but we want to use our old saplogon.ini file found on a citrix profile server.

The new SAPGUI 7.20 copies the saplogon.ini from C:\Windows to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\SAP\Common and does not read the saplogon.ini file from the profile server.

We have reviewed note 1426178, but we are unable to update the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAPLogon\Options) on our Citrix server to call the profile server where the old saplogon.ini exists.

If we publish the saplogon.exe we can manually change to the alternate drive where the profiles are loaded. Our end users use saplgpad.exe and can not make this change. We have tried using .reg files to write changes in but they arenu2019t taking. Does one of the Citrix service users have to be admin on the box, maybe?

Has anyone set this up this way before? If so, what changes did you make?

There is a command line switch, INI_FILE that does what we want but doesnu2019t work with SNC (we run SSO). Is anyone aware of a command line we could use that would include the INI_FILE switch and the SNC information?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Well it turns out we spoke too soon and found another way to set what configuration files are used.

We set the environment varialbe SAPLOGON_INI_FILE to the location of our profile server <drive letter>:\Windows\

Now all our old saplogon.ini's are being read instead of a local copy.
