Hello!
We are planning a OS Migration of a source system 4.6C that runs on SAP-kernel 4.6D_ext, Solaris9 (64bit) and Oracle 9.2.06.
Target OS will be on Suse Linux, SLES.
Would it be possible to migrate directly from Oracle 9.2 to Oracle 10.2?
(i.e , running the R3load export on a Oracle 9.2, but import in a Oracle 10.2 instance?).
If that will work, we dont have to install the Target system on SLES9 and Oracle 9.2, and later upgrade to SLES10 and Oralce 10/11.
The problem is that SAP doesn't support Oracle 9.2 on SLES10.

You should be able to use 10.2 directly. Why can't you install 11.2 if available for your OS (refer 1398634)
