How to activate NF Metal Processing for SD?

how can we activate NF Metal Processing for SD??

(We have a demo ECC 6.0 and EHP)

Purpose

This scenario includes three sub-scenarios which cover procurement non ferrous material for the warehouse, sales of non ferrous material with two pricing strategies, one is weight dependent and the other one is not weight dependent.

Supports various rate determination processes for NF metals traded on stock/metal exchanges using the condition technique.

NF metal coverage is an agreement to invoice a customer for a specific NF metal quantity within a specific period at a specific rate. It also contains coverage used history.

This is the prerequisite for NF Metal processing (NFM):

If you want to use NF metal processing, you must set the activation indicator in Customizing of NF Metal Processing at Logistics - General ® NF Metal Processing ® NF Cross-Application Components ® Maintain Basic Settings for NF Metal Processing. Once you have done this, NF metal functionality is available in the applications.

However I am not sure if you need to be on Industry Solution (IS)- Mill Products- to activate NFM. I don't think so.

Hi,

If I am looking in Customizing under Logistics Genereal there is no NF Metal entry.

If I am searching in Customizing for NF Metal it shows me that under Logistics General there´s got to

be a NF Metal entry, but if I am clicking on it, nothing is found.

So I think there must be somewhere else something to do, to get NF Metal to be appear

in Customizing.

So the question remains how to activate NF Metal processing for SD?

Hope you can help me to activate NF Metal Processing.

One got to activate first the business function.

Now it works.
