Default settings for item - Storage location

Hi,
When we create a shopping cart for a material the storage location is defaulted into the shopping cart line from the material. The SLOC should also default from the Default Settings for Items in the shop one screen or full functionality. This should then be defaulted to all the lines if the user selects the same item again or items that exist in the same storage location. However the defaults is not being picked up in the shopping cart and we have the error. If we add more than one line in the shopping say a material that has SLOC A and then material that has SLOC B then the material is given the SLOC A from the first item line.
Question 1. Should the storage location default from the selected material and what defines the SLOC default?

Hello,
As far as I know, in order to have storage location taken from "default settings" link, product category defined in default settings should be the same as that one available in cart item.
So, storage location would be taken.
