Next Button Not Visible on EP MDM UWL

Hello,

We have implemented EP MDM BP.

MDM Version: 7.1 SP04

EP: 7.1

In UWL, we are able to see "Assume", Delete, Approve, Reject, Done buttons.

But "Next Step" button is not visible.

According to this guide:

Next button should be visible on EP.

What are the settings missing???

Hi Purav,

Have you tried making the workflow item done? The buttons only show up when the job is able to be moved, same as in MDM Data Manager you can't move a record past certain points until certain things have been completed.

But problem is "next step" this button is still not visible.

Can you move the item to the next step through Data Manager? Also some things are done with a particular record selected, and some things are done at the workflow job level, not at the record level. The workflow through UWL should behave pretty much the same as through data manager.

Yeah.

From Datamanager Next step is visible.

But Enduser will have access only to EP, and everything should be populated on EP.

Are you on the workflow task in UWL, not on a record? Are you using the same user in both places? Did you do any customization to the UWL? I've had the Next Step button working before and there was a user learning curve to make sure everything was correct like having all the records approved and have the task marked as done.

Yes.

Its in "Tasks" tab of UWL.

User of EP and MDM is same.

So with same user in MDM, Next Step is visible, but on EP its not.

Issue was resolved after correcting XML file name as "mdm.xml". Its case sensitive.
