Update Solution Manager SAINT/JSPM prerequisites

Dear Guru's,

Please let me know if there is any SAP note or Manual from SAP to understand the space requirements needed before to update

of solution manager 7.0 to EHP1using SAINT/JSPM method.

I need to understand what would be the growth factor if we need to update a resource critical system with this method.
