Hi,

I have Two SLDs.

1. SLD on Solution Server ( Centerlise SLD for PI-DEV and PI-QAS ).

2. Local SLD on PI -PRD.

Development System :-

I have Created all SLD objects(Technical System/ Buisness System/ Product/ SWCV) for development System on Centerlise Solution Manager.

BSys_DEC_110_D belongs to PRODUCT_I_SAP_ERP

Quality System :-

I have Created Only SLD objects(Technical System) for Quality Syetem on Centerlise Solution Manager.

BSys_QEC_110_Q is tranport target in Quality for BSys_DEC_110_D.

Question 1 : will BSys_QEC_110_Q belongs to same Product and SWCV as Devlopement system (PRODUCT_I_SAP_ERP)???????????????????????????????????????????

Question 2 : as I alrady told , My Dev and QAS SLD is on same Central Solution manager, So Do It also required to Maintain Trasport target here also ??? will it help me in ID and ESR Object trasnport from DEV to Q System ?????

Production System:-

Question 1 :- What steps here required to maintain transport from Central Q SLD( Solution manager) to Diffrent Prod SLD????????????????

Hi,

Like we are not using CTS+ ,

What approach i Should Use while Transporting Object Using .tpz File system.

In case of tpz , Do i have to manually Create Configuration Objects in Every System(D, Q, P) ??????????????

Because as during Transport Buisness system will not change automatically as we are using .tpz transport system ?????????????

Reminding , I have Two SLDs.

1. SLD on Solution Server ( Centerlise SLD for PI-DEV and PI-QAS ).

2 . Local SLD on PI -PRD.

What Should be approach?????????????????????????????

Hi ,

as i already mentioned create Trasport Targets in SLD , so that when ever you trasport OBjects to other environment Bussiness System name will be changed automatically.

reaming process same , trasport SLD , ESR and ID objetcs as A .tpz file import in to other envrionment.

But in previous Post you replied yes on this :----

,

If we are not using CTS + , Business System name will not change automatically in ID Objects dring transport, so there is no use of creating transport targets in SLD.

and in our case , we are not using CTS+ , that means Buisness System name will not change in ID Objects Automatically during transport ..

.................so we have to create manually ID objects for same interface in each System ( D, Q , P) ?????????????/

am i right ?? please correct me if i am wrong any where???

You need to add the source systems in your Prod SLD and then you can create the transport target links.

What is the Idea behind using and Creating Transport Target ...??????????????

Automatic Change of Buisness system while trapsorting it to other system>?????????????????????/

will it work in .tpz transport also , we dont have CTS+ in our landscape.

Creating targets transports is to tell where the objects changes need to be replicate.

  • What do you mean by "Automatic Change of Buisness system while trapsorting it to other system"? *

It will not work with .tpz transports.

Thanks

Hi,

If you are using CTS as your transport mechanism take a look in to this document section 4.3

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10456aac-44f7-2a10-1fbe-8b7bcd7bc...
