File not being picked by adapter

My Source file name is xml_a1_en.xml

the test files are of name xml_a1_02_en_2010.xml , xml_a1_03_en_2010.xml

the files are not being picked up by adapter..Is the naming convention wrong for the test files or any reason?

If the above naming conventions do not work, then do the basics, check if the CC is acitve mode. check the polling, check the path if its correct, and check if you have access to pick up files from the particular location.

CC is active ,polling is 60 secs and the path is correct too

If xml_a1*.xml is not working then give the actual file name in the channel and try to pull.

If still it is not giving any result then check whether the file channel is locked or not.

File or directory permission could be one of the reason but 'X' doesn't mean they are lacking amy permission. 'X' represents in picture when you have opened the file.

Anyway just make sure if your Sender Agreement is in place.

I have mentioned earlier to check whether you have access to the directory in al11.

Tell your basis to check in SU01 to give you write access for the directory in al11

Hi Mr.King,

I am assuming your OS is Unix system right?

If yes -> check the file permission?

if Only Reading: permission should be 664

Move the file after reading: 775

Hi Senthil,

yes Its a unix system..the files are being placed by onsite team.i am juzz sending them the test files. i am seeing the files by al11 tcode.in the usable file tab its showing X symbol.. Do we need to change the permission?if yes how to change it?

Try the filename as xml_a1*.xml in communication channel.

something wrong with the naming in the above post..it couldnt recognise the _ and * ..kindly see this is the file strucutre
