Can't install SAP Netweaver 7.0 Ehp1 ABAP instance

Hi All

I plan to install SAP Netweaver 7.0 with Ehp1 in one shot.

But when I start the SapInst.exe, I don't see an option to install SAP Application Server ABAP in the menu of installation (Can't find the Central Instance installation option). Only Add. Life Cycle for SAP products and Stand Alone components install in there.

Did I use the wrong SapInst.exe ? I download the DVD Media from this link:

-> Download

-> Installations and Upgrades

-> Entry by Application Group

-> SAP Netweaver and complementary products

-> SAP Netweaver

-> SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

-> Installation

-> Windows Server

-> SAP DB

Or I can't do SAP Netweaver 7.0 ABAP with Ehp1 installation in one shot, so I have to install NW 7.0 SR1 first, then do the Ehp1 upgrade ?

The option you are not getting may be due to you are not using RIHGT Operating system....I am not sure....

R U with 64Bit.?

Yep 32-bit is the cause you'll need a 64-bit

Could you give me an explanation how 32bit is the problem? Quite strange...

Look at service.sap.com/pam to find out the Supported platform for SAP Application. You can install a dialog server only on 32 bit Windows, You have to go with 64 bit Windows.

Hi,

You can install SAP NW 7.0 Ehp1 (7.01) directly, make sure you have downloaded the correct installation master from the service marketplace. The CD # for NW 7.0 EhP1 installation master is 51036888.

Thereafter, once you start SAPINST you should be able to install AS-ABAP EhP1 as a central system installation, by using the following path in the first screen of SAPINST: SAP Installation Master -> SAP NW 7.0 including Enhancement Package 1 Support Relase 1 -> SAP Application Server ABAP -> MaxDB -> Central System

I can't find the 51036888 installation master in the swdc link that I post.

Could you tell me where is it in swdc ?
