Partner Function Problem in Customer Master

Dear expert ,

I have problem in Partner function - customer master. I've created ZKUN Customer Account Group with copying from original one KUNA , but the problem is why the customer code is not automatically appears on column NUMBER in the Partner Function tab ? because when I input manually with new customer code , the error message about "customer is not defined" will appears so , I can't save customer master data, but when I try to make the customer by using the original one Account Group KUNA, customer code will automatically appears.

What should I do ? there a customization step that I missed ?.

Hi,

There are few simple steps in determining the partner determination procedure.

1.Account group creation and assigning the number ranges to assigning

2.Determining the partner functions and assign to the account group.(ofcourse we use the standard funtions,SP,SH,BP,PY)

3.Define a procedure

4.Place the partner functions in the procedure and finally,

5.Assign the partner determination procedure to the account group which you have earlier determined.

Ensure that this ZKUN Account Group is assigned in the following IMG path

SD => Basic Functions => Partner Determination => Set Up Partner Determination => Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master => Partner Determination Procedure Assignment.

Yes off course, I already check in there , and ZKUN already assign with Procedure AG (Sold-to-Party) same as original KUNA which I've copied.

Hi

In partner determination procedure in the tab Partner functions in Procedure make your partner functions as Mandatory.

Also assign your partner functions to your account group

Let me confirm first because I'm little confused about some different menu names , is it Define And Assign Partner Determination Procedures menu can access from tcode VOPA ?

And can you tell me how can I assign partner functions to account group ? so I can check this in our system.

Hi

Check the below settings

Define partner determination procedure

Click on partner determination procedure under control button

Go to new entries

Define your own partner determination procedure

Save and Exit

Assign partner functions in the partner determination procedure

Select our partner determination procedure

Click on partner functions in procedure

Go to new entries

Specify partner functions like below

Partner determination procedure assignment

Click on partner determination procedure under dialog structure

Choose our account group from position button

Assign partner determination procedure that we created in the previous step

Save and Exit

Account groups u2013 Function assignment

Click on account groups u2013 function assignment button under dialog structure

Go to new entries

Specify partner functions

Partner function Name and your Account group

Thanks so much for Ramesh and Prashanth for the detail explanation ,

If All step above should be check is under TCode VOPA (IMG u2013 SD u2013 Basic Function u2013 Partner Determination - Define And Assign Partner Determination Procedures) , Iu2019ve check already and everything Is ok, Iu2019ve comparing the setting between my new Account Group (ZKUN) with the source copy (KUNA).

That's why I'm confused, because at the time of use KUNA, the partner function has been determined automatically with Customer code in there, but not when we use ZKUN, we have to input manually cust code and finally found error (canu2019t save), whereas, ZKUN has copied from KUNA.
