Hi All,
I am logging in to SAP GUI and the trying to launch SXMB_IFR. Strangely I am getting an error :
http://pi***/dir/start/index.jsp
Application Not Found.
This message is getting displayed in the box.
Everything else seems right.
I am getting the sme error while executing SLDCHECK and similar transactions.
It says unable to load the HTML page.
I guess the problem is that ABAP stack is not able to connect to the JAVA stack.. Am I right? Please solve this problem.
Thank you
Yashwanth

Hi Yashwanth,
First, please check these two threads:
Check the URL configuration for Adapter Engine in the SLD.
To check that go to SLD -> Administration -> Content Maintenance ->
Class: XI Adapter Framework -> Adapter Engine on <hostname> ->
Associated Instances -> Basic URL of Adapter Engine on <hostname> and
check the URL.
URL: http://<shorthostname>:<j2eeport>; (you can not change it here.)
To change the URL to the FQHN <fullhostname>, go to
Visual Administrator -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Services ->
SAP XI AF CPA CACHE and fill the following parameters:
SLD.selfregistration.hostName: <fullhostname>
SLD.selfregistration.httPort: <j2eeport>
Update, save and restart the service SAP XI CPA CACHE when prompted by
the VA.
The instance parameter icm/host_name_full needs to be specified with a
fully-qualified host name (see also SAP Note 654982).
654982 - URL requirements due to Internet standards
In addition, ensure, by these notes, that you don't have any wrong/old hostname in your cache.
757692 - changing the hostname for J2EE Engine 6.40/7.0 installation
804124 - HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails
755372 - Changing HTTP Port of decentralized Adapter Engine
