GAF floor paln manager - screen reader accessibility

I have a WD appl that uses GAF FPM. When navigating through steps you will get the spinning wheel while waiting for next screen to appear.

Where is this spinning wheel coming from. As far as I can tell there is not a progress indicator coded in application.

The requirement is that when the spinning wheel appears, the JAWS screen reader should be able to detect it and speak something like "Processing".

Is this something I can configure in GAF?

Hi,

i think it is nothing to do with FPM_GAF. I am not not very sure about it but it is to do with the Theme. Default SAP theme consists the "Spinning wheel".

Try in that direction to change your own theme to display a message "Processing".

if you download your themes as zip file then open the zip file, you could see that there is UR.zip ,when you open this, you see common folder.

inside this common folder you see loading_ani.gif This is the "Spinning wheel".

Theme->ur->common->loading_ani.gif.

You can replace this with your animation and text, remember to keep the same name. Export this new Theme and use it.
