Access Restrictions - Characters Limit for the replacement table

Hi,

In the Universe Designer, for the table mapping in the access restrictions, we are unable to add a replacement table with more than 255 characters.

Replacement table name gets truncated at 255 characters.

We would like to know if there is such a limit specified by SAP Business Objects for the replacement table name.

YEP, table name is restricted to 254/255 characters length.

BTW, why you are doing it for long text.

Thank you for providing a confirmation about the characters length. We have managed to find a workaround using Derived Tables.
