Hello,

Even in this note 416139 SAP is indicating to use only windows front end in the solution.

    • In any case, the following applications cannot be executed (either in a JAVA Sapgui environment or HTML Sapgui environment) as of Release 4.6:

      Project System:
      - Directly calling the project planning board (CJ2B, CJ2C, CJ27)
      - Directly calling the simulation (CJV1, CJV2, CJV3)
      - Indirectly calling the project planning board via the Project Builder (CJ20N)
      - Indirectly calling the project planning board via the structure planning (CJ20 and so on)
      SWDD:
      - Workflow
    • Use the following text in the 'WHAT_TO_DO' column:
If you would like to use the graphic within the transaction, use a Windows front end.
  • It might be better if SAP supports linux ubuntu OS, to that matter any linux distribution for graphical view as sap itself is a cross application platform. Hope the change comes as early as possible.

You are only upgrading your SAPGUI not your SAPDB database.

When you open SAPGUI on lefthad top corner click and click on about SAP logon. Here you will get your Patch level for GUI.

Just download the latest patch from SAP marketplace under patches select SAP Frontend Components.

hi,

today only, i'm update *SAP GUI java 7.20 REV 3* , but same problem view

Problem View in PS Module :

(Initializing of graphics for JAVA is not supported in the SAP GUI

Message no. CJ825

Diagnosis

If you call transactions containing graphics with a SAP GUI for the JAVA or HTML environment, it could result in a short dump.

This can occur if the graphic component is not available for the corresponding platform, or if the embedding of the graphic component for Windows has been optimized and therefore can't be used on other platforms.

Graphics that do not run within the screen are available in the SAP GUI for the JAVA environment  - however, you cannot call them up using the SAP GUI for the HTML environment.

You can display presentation graphics embedded in the screen by using a IGS (Internet Graphics Server). This works from release 4.6C (backend) on.

The same goes for networks and Gantt charts, if the following prerequisites have been fulfilled: The application was converted after 4.6B. The graphnic takes up the entire screen.

The following applications are not executable (neither in the SAP GUI for JAVA environment nor in the SAP GUI for the HTML environment) from release 4.6 on: Project System: Calling the project planning board directly (CJ2B, CJ2C, CJ27) Calling the simulation directly (CJV1, CJV2, CJV3) Calling the project planning board indirectly using the Project Builder (CJ20N) Calling the project planning board indirectly using structure planning (CJ20) Workflow (SWDD)

Procedure

If you require graphics for this transaction, use a Windows frontend.)

I don't know exactly problem, kindly solution at earliest

thank u
