We are having a problem with the IGS server port -
It appears to be in use. Is there a way to restart the port or find out what job is active on the port?
We restarted SAP and the problem still occurs.
We cannot telnet the port either we get the connection to host failed. Other ports on the system works.
Thanks,
Brian
Hi Brain,
on OS/400 command line, please do "netstat" then option 3. All the open connections should be listed.
You might refer to the service file (GO CFGTCP - option 21 - option 1) for the ports not numbered, but named.
Upon the port is found, you can find the job holding that port.
Good luck,
Victor

That was exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately I could not find the port I having a problem with the port.
I have found a log file from last week - which looks like caused the problem. - Destroyed for port 40180
