can we cancel retest inspection lot also

For cancel of Inspection lot you have to Cancel the original material document.(GR). Also make sure that you have not taken Usage Decision.The inspection lot will get status LTCA as soon as you revert the material document.

Once UD is taken you can/should not cancel the lot

go to Inspection lot -- functions -- cancel lot

If you have not made the UD, please go to QA02, menu 'Inspection lot' > Functions > Cancel lot to do that, but the system may check more restrictions as well, this is often applicable for fresh lot after creation, otherwise you can cancel the material documents which created the lot to cancale the lot.

If you have already made UD, then please go to QA12, menu 'Usage decision' > Functions > Cancel...

If you'd like to cancel the usage decision, the solution of note 33924 can help.

If you'd like to reverse the goods movements done by UD, the solution of note 175842 can help.

If you'd like to reset the lot, you can go to the transaction QAC3 to reset the samle calculation, this will read the inspection plan again to calculate the sample, of course, this is also applicable for fresh lot. (No UD made.).
