Dear Experts,
I created one scheduling agreement for material, material in stock 300
100 pcs for 29.10.2011
100 pcs for 29.11.2010
100pcs for 29.12.2010
When i go schedule lines system confirmed 100 pcs each for all dates. According to our requirement system should not confirm materal if a delivery date falls after one month. 300 in stock will be consumed within a month for another sales orders. Against this plan production will be taken place.
Hence i wish to know whether if i create an year long scheduling agreement wth different delivery schedules, will the system reserve the item in stock / independant requirements for the scheduling agreement?
Please advise.
Thanks & regards,

Hi,
Our scenario is customer giving an order for one year with different delivery schedules & qty for every month. Hence we need to ship the material to different locations for each month. Contract will be reference many sales order / po from customer. Here i have one PO with firm qty and delivery schedules. For this scenario contract is the right process to start?

Try out B requirements & Deliveries according to validity in Sch. Agreements, header, Sales tab under MRP for DS type & key in the validity date as 1 month.
or assign a delivery block that will not do an availability check at the schedule line level for lines greater than 1 month
let me know if this had worked for you.
