RZ20 MTE brbackup status: Last brbackup run

Former Member

Hello.

I implemented alert on "brbackup status: Last brbackup run".

It happens that when the backup starts, it generates an yellow alert and an email, because I configure an email autoreaction method.

Is there a way to bypass the alert on a specific time interval ?

Or is there a different way to solve my problem?

I prefere that the alert would be generated on backup error , not warning, but it isn't possible to set the threshold for this alert.

Could you help me?

Thanks.

Mario

You can set the behavior of the Alert under "Status attribute", for example "Message value color has changed".. read the documentation.

I set "Message value color has changed", but when the brbackup starts, I obtain an alert , because the status is yellow.

So the problem isn't solved.

Another suggestion?

Thanks for your help.

The only solution that I found:

"Shift red to yellow and yellow to green "!

so the alert is triggered only if the brbackup failed.

But this could be a problem, if a brbackup doesn't finish, and it remains in started status, the alert is not generated.

Now I ask : which is the report to check the alert ?

If I found this, I could exclude, if possible , the job during the brbackup of the night.

Thanks.
