Hi,
I would like to know the cause of my Problem. The Problem is The Messages Picked up by Channel has inactive Message ID in the CC Monitoring and the Messages are not getting Processed. But when i stop and start the Channel, after a while, the Messages starts getting processed and i am able to see the audit Log. This happen almost everyday.
Please Help.
Even after trying the taskTimeout Parameter, the dummy message IDs still persists in CC.
If anyone has a solution other than manual unlocking of CC through above said methods,
Please help here.

In this case, The sender is JDBC not FTP.

Hi,
Inclusion of taskTimeout parameter in table parameters didnot work. In CC, the channel status is in Error but without error description and dummy Message IDs are shown.
I have set the parameter as taskTimeout with value 300.
Please help to resolve this.
Thanks.

Hi Sudeep,
Please provide more information.
1.what connection type u r using FTP or NFS?
2. what is the polling interval?
3. If FTP set the connection to per file transfer and in Advanced paramenter use 'ftp.timeout' parameter.
TEST:
Perform below test for checking weather its Lock issue:
TEST 1. Go to Visual admin and check the Lock status in it. the channel ref id should comeup over there. that means the channel is getting locked frequently.
TEST 2. Rename the channel to new name and test the new CC. check weather the problem is coming again (mostly the problem wont come). please let me know.

Hi,
Inactive message id indicates that the message is not available at the source side while channel polling it.
But when i stop and start the Channel, after a while, the Messages starts getting processed and i am able to see the audit Log. This happen almost everyday.
There is a possibility that the sender channel getting locked in this case.
Use 'taskTimeout' parameter to prevent this from happening in future.
