SAPSCRIPT Check Printing Issue

Former Member

Hello,

We have a sapscript to print the check using Lexmark printer-Lexmark 4039/OPTRA series PCL. We are using the font HELVE and size 8 to print the check amount. It prints correctly in DEV, but we are having issues when printing it in Quality System. The first check prints correctly, but on each subsequent check the $ symbol is missing and the check amount font is getting enlarged.

We checked with our Basis team if there is any system level settings/configuaration missing, but everything seems to be OK from their side.

FYI..Without $ symbol it works fine in both systems and works fine on any other printer expect for this Lexmark printer. So, it definitely has something to do with the $ symbol and this printer. We have tried many options to fix (like changing the paragraph format, font size etc). Please let me know if anybody had faced this kind of issue before. Any kind of suggestion is really appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Ch@ndr@,

This seems a strange problem. It is possible that this is simply a problem with the Sapscript buffers. Can you run the report RSTXDELL on the system to clear the Sapscript buffers?

To do this you can use RSTXDELL report with default settings except it is better to have * instead of the current client number in the Client field.

After this, create a new spool and see if the problem is resolved? It will not work to reprint an old spool as the print data is already incorrect.

Regards,

Aidan
