SRM without EP

Hi,

I have recently understood that EP is not mandatory with SRM 7.0 with >=SPS06. I have below questions in this regard:

1. How is srm accessed by end users on web? How do we set the login URL?

2. Are composite roles & POWL features are still supported.

3. UI (look and feel) is same as like with EP or different.

Where can I get additional information?

Thanks & Regards,

Prashant

Hi,

Where did you get info about PPS is not supported?

Others are mentioned in the release notes.

Hi,

It is in the master guide of the SRM 7.0 SP06.

I wonder why ROS and SUS will not be supported? EP has a role only as a portal with user interface. It should be possible to access the systems with published SICF services.

Prashant

Hi Prashant,

SUS & ROS can be used without EP. As you rightly mentioned, they can be accessed via SICF services.

Only to enhance the supplier end user experience do we enable suppliers on EP in SRM 7.0.

Thanks & regards,

Hi,

Some information I could get:

Portal-independent navigation frame is delivered as one of the options of flexible deployment variant. It has some limitations:

1. Some solutions are not supported-

a. Procurement for Public Sector (PPS)

b. Supplier self-services (SUS)

c. Registration of suppliers (ROS)

2. Harmonized roles across SAP ERP and SAP SRM purchasing capabilities are not supported.

Any additional inputs or experiances will be hight appreciated.

Regards,
