Service Desk - only ABAP systems are displayed - no JAVA system

Dear SAP colleagues,

I have implemented the Service Desk in Solution Manager.

I can create OSS message from any ABAP or ABAP+JAVA systems (Help, Create Support Message, ...).

For JAVA standalone SAP systems, I have to login directly to my Solman System :

1. SOLMAN_WORKCENTER

2. Incident Management

3. New Message

4. Then, I get the "Product Systems" in which I can choose the systems for which I want to create a message.

But in this match code list, I only have ABAP, ABAP+JAVA SAP systems.

I do not have any JAVA systems.

For ABAP, ABAP+JAVA systems, I have created RFC SM_SIDCLNT100_READ.

Question :

What do I have to create - also RFC - to have SAP JAVA systems displayed in my list (Product System) ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Best regards

Pascal

Hi,

you have to add the system into the BP with client 000.

Like you do it for ABAP-Systems.

Kind regards,

Michael

Dear Jansi,

Thanks for your input.

1. JAVA SAP systems are created - automatically - from SLD to SMSY.

2. What about RFC ? Are you talking about HTTP or TCP/IP RFC ?

Hi

pls check whether your system correctly reported on SLD, if so via productive sld transfer the correct main product instance defined in SMSY.

not sure here, since i hav done only on dual stacks(RFC picture out here) , not much on Java in incident management, only on RCA.

But there are other posiblities like portal links, iviews chk this also [|]

Dear all,

thanks for your input.

I have found the solution.

You have to create a BP for each user, per system.

1. TA : SPRO

2. SAP Reference IMG

3. Search on "Create Message Processor"

4. Then, choose "Create automatically"

5. Click on Add

6. Select the SID in which you want to create OSS messages from your Service Desk

7. Select then user in the SID

8. Then, click on Create and it create a BP (Business Partner).

Best regards
