Layout preview problem

Hi experts,

I m new in the webdynpro abap world, zo maybe its a simpel question.

I m connected to backend system (Virtual machine), i try to open an existing view of a webdynpro component.

I can add elements in the layout , but if i try to open the layour preview i get the error "This program cannot display the webpage".

So i can't see what i m developing.

any suggestions to solve this problem ?

I m not talkin about testing the application : this goes also wrong.

I can't drag and drop the ui elements inside a view , i have to do it with the context menu of de rootuielement : insert child ..etc.

Hi Moo,

For this you need to set the host configaration goto tcode SICF->complie it gives you default host->GOTO->port information

It gives you fullyspecifed hostname copy that and paste in drivers hostname file.
